SRG and partners gave a report to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing regarding findings from and recommendations for the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program.

The Committee on Accreditation received a report on the evaluation of the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program.

In partnership with Shasta College, SRG conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the California Classified Teacher Credentialing Program. This report summarizes the feedback obtained from stakeholders across California. It presents evidence of the successes and challenges of program implementation, describes the qualities and associated outcomes of partnerships between Local Education Agencies and Institutions of Higher Education and the degree to which this grant program impacted the lives of classified participants, and how COVID-19 and state health directives impacted program delivery and participant experience. Summarily, a decision was sought on the program's success over five years in assisting classified staff to become credentialed California teachers. Formatively, the purpose of the evaluation was to examine the program's strengths and areas for growth and suggest possible improvements.
